Allow me to introduce myself.
First and foremost, I am a mother of a beautiful boy and my endless love for him and his well-being pushed me into low carb adventure.
I am also a dentist and science enthusiast, who admires the way metabolism regulates our bodies to perfection keeping us healthy and well. But what happens when something “breaks” and how hard is it to fix it?
Well, my child pancreas “quit working” when he was 2 years old, and since then I have been trying to act in its place- turns out almost an impossible task!
The only salvation was finding and exploring new low carb food options which keeps his blood sugar more stable and allowing “small numbers” to rule- less carbs, less insulin, more room for successful management.
Sure, my son has insulin pump and CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) and all new shiny (and expensive) gadgets which are of tremendous help but NOTHING compared to power of food shift we made. Thanks to a low carb lifestyle I have a healthy, happy, active and smart child full of bright plans for the future ahead.
My advice is- treat your body as a temple, nourish it with wholesome and natural ingredients and it will be thankful to you. And it is never too late to change the way you live and eat, to be smart with your food choices.
If you feel that what you put in your mouth makes you tired, low energy and leave you with all kinds of health issues, maybe it is time to start treating your body as it deserves and make it happy with quality food instead of junk and processed food overloaded with sugar.
I am here, struggling as you are. But empowered by experience and great course designed by a wonderful woman and keto pioneer Maria Emmerich, I want to assist you on your journey to success.
